iKON leaves YG Entertainment as a group

iKON chose to break the good news to fans iKONICs first through the fan community Weverse. On December 30, YG Entertainment announces iKON will be leaving the company after 7 years in a mutual agreement. YG Entertainment wrote: We would like to announce that after a long and careful discussion with iKON (Kim Jinhwan, BOBBY, Song Yunhyeong, Koo Junhoe, Kim Donghyuk, Jung Chanwoo), we all have mutually agreed to end the exclusive management contract in respect of each other’s opinions. Apart from the end of the contract, all six members will act as a group: iKON. In addition, iKON will continuously interact with fans through their official channels including Weverse, the fan community service, as usual. We would like to express sincere appreciation to iKON for being with us as YG artist. YG Entertainment will always look forward to their activities in diverse fields and wish the best for the members in the future. The recent iKON festivals familiarized us with iKON's usual, almost traditional setlist, mainly composed of their hit songs SINOSIJAK, RHYTHM TA, B-DAY, BLING BLING, FREEDOM, and LOVE SCENARIO, with the newest addition BUT YOU we just discovered as the perfect song for encore . While these songs are well loved and are perfect for festivals for its fun and energetic sound, but fans can't help but to wish for spice and a little change to the setlist, especially as there are songs that haven't been performed live since and songs that we haven't heard live for a while and are deeply missed, and some others just have their own personal favorites. Fans, as well as non-fans, calls for iKON world tour after successful festival gigs

We just can't get enough! Fans and concertgoers alike always find themselves wanting more after seeing iKON live, thus the demand for a world tour. Recently, iKON has been busy touring parts of Southeast Asia and Los Angeles to perform at joint concerts and festivals, which we dubbed as the lowkey world tour . iKON performed in the Philippines and Thailand for K-POP MASTERZ 2, for JISPHORIA in Indonesia, and the most recent is in Los Angeles for KAMP LA. In most events, iKONICs filled the venue with an estimated 50% to 70% turnout, proving iKON's solid concert population. Festivals are also a perfect chance to convert non-fans into fans which iKON is obviously good at.   About time for Bobby to have his long-overdue solo concert! A promoter in the Philippines wants to bring Bobby to Manila and we need your help! Bobby, aside from being iKON's beastly rapper, is also a solo hip-hop artist who successfully cemented his footing on the K-hip-hop scene as the Show Me The Money 3 champion and the only idol rapper to do so. As a solo artist, Bobby has two full-length albums under his belt and it's a shame that we haven't heard these songs in a concert yet. ULKIN recently announced on their SNS account that Donghyuk's designed collection SMILE WITH DK will be having its second drop tomorrow Thursday, October 6. Together with the announcement, a concept photo of Donghyuk is released raising anticipation.
